Contrary to much of what we read, stress is incredibly useful. It’s an important evolutionary response to danger, an automatic tool that takes over in the event of an emergency. At the sight of something dangerous (or worrisome), our stress responses activate, helping us run faster, jump higher, see better, and think quicker. You could say, stress is the body’s best weapon; it’s what kept us alive for years, taking us from prey to predator. Our stress response is hardwired, and even though everyone wants to help you manage and reduce, we can’t get rid of it, no matter how hard we try — we need it. But the question, then, is how we can use stress for good. If we can’t get rid of it, what should we do with it? We believe we should cultivate positively stressful situations that help us grow. Like the person who challenges themselves physically each day, stress helps us become stronger. When focused on a meaningful goal, stress can help us achieve our dreams. If you want help setting a meaningful goal, or creating positively stressful situations, send us a message or leave a comment. #Tms #LifestyleManagement #TheMindfulSavage #Mindful #MindfulSavage #Savage #Lifestyle #Habits #Behavior #Movement #Sleep #Stress #Food #yogalife #yogalove #yogajourney #yogalifestyle #meditation #meditate #meditateeverydamnday #stress #stressreliever #breathe #breatheasy #hike #strongmind
